At this year’s BIG heART Show there were some special ways to connect, participate in art and build relationships. Here is Dawn Mendelson (mosaic artist and art educator) working with Val Parker, Exec. Director for Power4Youth – local mentoring program working on a skateboard mosaic. Too much fun!

Last night’s annual event – hosted in TWO locations was phenomenal. Thanks to Tim and Sara! So many interactions, so many levels. Film crew on site to document artist-resident conversations.  Thanks to Richard, Darick and LaDan. Things to do. Thanks to Dawn and Noah! And the point was funding our youth – art – engagement programming especially for those at-risk. Thanks to Tracy – Red Leprechaun that provided fantastic sliders!!! Dennis and Gretchen were on hospitality. The artists, those interested in art were reaching out to each other. Watch for the video – in the meantime here are a few photos!
