Preparing for Spring

Take a moment to calculate the value of what you are currently storing in your garage and compare that amount to your car parked on the street. Does it make sense?

Clutter, hoarding ….George Carlin hit the nail on the head.  While you are sorting out all those things you don’t need but others could use – consider donating them to our local non-profits e.g. the Assistance League Thrift Store on 4th St.

Out in the rain?

It’s no fun if you are planning to take the Blue Line from LB for the next few months – only to discover during the rain that there are major changes underway. By the way….there are changes for those driving personal vehicles going south on LB Blvd near downtown – so plan ahead.

But for shuttle service – here are the alternatives during the Blue Line construction/maintenance.

Metro Line 860 “Express Shuttle” will connect customers from stations in downtown Long Beach to stations in downtown Los Angeles during AM and PM rush hours.

Metro Line 861 “Select Shuttle” will connect select station along the southern segment of the blue line to Willowbrook/Rosa Parks Station to connect to Metro Green Line and 103rd St/Watts Towers Station to connect to the in-service section of the Metro Blue Line during AM and PM rush hours.

Metro Line 862 “Local Shuttle” will connect all impacted stations in the south segment closure to 103rd St/Watts Towers Station to connect to the in-service section of the Metro Blue Line.
