RPNA has been at some important workshops lately. We attended conferences that addressed the need and importance of belonging. SAFE Refuge recently offered a community workshop on Suicide Prevention. For those that need services or would like to volunteer click here. 

You’ll hearing more about Trauma Aware preparedness. It’s how we pass forward ‘bad experiences’ – let’s stop doing that! Watch for more workshops in 2019 or call CD2 who is leading the effort with the Health Department at 570-2222.

And the Investment without Displacement Conference. It’s impossible to feel that you belong if housing stability is taken from you. So Rose Park Neighborhood Association is working with our terrific neighborhood non-profits to offer a series of art workshops – where people belong.
