We’re pleased to announce that Long Beach Animal Care Services is indeed holding a low-cost vaccination clinic for cats and dogs in the park this Saturday, August 31st, from 9:00a-10:30a. You may have been aware that we previously announced that the clinic would be held last Saturday, August 24th. Due to scheduling conflicts, however, that clinic did not materialize. Long Beach Animal Care Services and the Rose Park Neighborhood Association sincerely apologize for anyone who showed up last Saturday morning. The good mews is that we’ve been assured that it will take place this coming Saturday morning.
Pet owners must be 18 years or older. All pets must be on leashes or in carriers. Only healthy and non-pregnant animals will be vaccinated. If you have a prior Rabies vaccine certificate, license tag or license renewal notice for your pet, please bring it with you to the clinic. Vaccination and microchip services are provided for pets residing in any city. Licensing service is provided for residents within Animal Care Services’s jurisdiction: Long Beach, Signal Hill, Cerritos, Los Alamitos and Seal Beach. For more service information and pricing please visit Southern California Veterinary Vaccine Clinics, Long Beach Animal Care Services’s partner in this project, for pricing or call (562) 570-7387. If you’re unable to get the park this Saturday visit this web page for a schedule of other clinics around the city on other dates. The next scheduled clinic for Rose Park is Saturday, November 2nd.
