Something to smile about

Less than a year ago work on the 6th Street Blvd commenced. Although years in the planning all four traffic circles are in and landscaped! Most people like them, a few don’t. There is a learning curve. But in the planning there was a significant change to a corner without a traffic circle. At E6th and Coronado 2 stop signs were removed; making a historically 4-way stop a 2-way stop. But there was no sign alerting drivers and pedestrians to this. Well, now there is. Probably will take another learning curve, but seriously it makes this type of intersection conform to those east of us on the bike boulevard.

And something else that gives a smile, AmazonSmile. Your neighborhood association has to raise funds each year for all its activities from games at park events, decorations and lights for our holiday tree as well as big ticket items such as like liability insurance and newsletters. Our AmazonSmile account – Rose Park Neighborhood Association – through your purchases seriously helps with those big ticket items. Please consider joining – nothing out of your pocket but something into RPNA.

Walk the Walk

Some years ago the RPNA Board established the Historic Brick Walk. Many of you have mentioned “How can I have a brick?”. Here is the form. Complete page 2 (see below) and send with check to RPNA 3350 E. 7th #140, LB 90804. To help us….send us an email to alert us to incoming request info@rpna.org. Please make sure we have a way to reach you to confirm request.

We need to have a minimum of 4 requests to have the engraving company out to the park. Once that is done….we’ll post so everyone can see their name on the walk!
