The Downtown Business Alliance in LB has published its annual data in a very reader friendly form.
Councilwoman Jeannine Pearce, Vice Mayor Rex Richardson, and the Long Beach Community Choice Energy Working Group are hosting a CCE Public Forum on April 24th at 6:00 PM at the Aquarium of the Pacific.
We’ve started the conversation with some of our area’s concerns. But this group needs to hear from you.
Concerns thus far:
o Pollution & Air Quality (7th Street is the busiest area for transit in Long Beach).
o Affordability of energy for low income.
o Job Creation and workforce development (local jobs are important as 70% of residents leave Long Beach for work).
o Supporting neighborhood community groups and affordable housing.
o Transportation for seniors who are on limited budgets and have mobility issues.
