Meet us at the Parking Lot Skate Jam this Friday for a night of music, food, skateboarding, and art workshop in the form of a ‘Zine.’ 

A zine, pronounced ZEEN is a self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images. Material will be provided, however feel free to bring your own magazines or text for this art project. The ‘Zine’ theme is “Environmental Justice.”

Staff from Safe Streets Long Beach will also be available to answer questions regarding plans to slow down traffic, eliminate traffic related deaths and injuries, and improve pedestrian safety. www.longbeach.gov/goactivelb/programs/safe-streets-lb/
