The ArtWorksLBC program is a community benefit project of Rose Park Neighborhood, created for individuals, families and partnering organizations to engage in arts healing and wellness, public space revitalization, and community building efforts.
One of the art projects that began during the pandemic is our “Hearts Across Long Beach,” project, which provides essential workers with art wellness mosaic kits. Participating organizations included: St. Mary’s Medical Center, The LGBTQ Center Seniors, Staff at Horace Mann, Luther Burbank and Gompers Elementary School, Friends of the Library, and Mental Health America of Los Angeles. We continue to provide this activity for partnering organizations and individuals to give them time to reflect, engage in team building activities and share their art creations with the community. Take a look at some of our participants in these videos below …

We are raising funds for art materials, stipends for visiting artists, and larger group art projects that work to revitalize and connect our neighborhood spaces and places.
