Welcome to Rose Park!

This Is Your Neighborhood

The historic Rose Park neighborhood is located in the City of Long Beach, California and just blocks from the beautiful Pacific Ocean between Cherry Avenue and Redondo Avenue to the west and east, and Fourth Street and Tenth Street to the south and north. See a map here. ROSE_PARK_AREA_BASE_MAP_EDIT-2017 .

The icon of our neighborhood is a small historic park located on Orizaba Avenue at Eighth Street.

The Rose Park Neighborhood Association (RPNA) is a recognized nonprofit volunteer organization organized to represent the residents of this area and to protect and promote its interests. Our Association is responsible for one of the largest geographical association areas in the City, with more than 10,400 residents and two designated historic districts.

New to the neighborhood?

Interested in historic guidelines for your property? The guide covers the process and the details for all properties in historic districts.

Need to remove large items or see sofas, etc on the street? It’s hard to know how to dispose of large items, sometimes large items are left on the parkway or alley. You can help by reporting these items to environmental services. Thank you!

Graffiti?  The city of Long Beach offers a graffiti abatement program – please report graffiti. It really has no boundaries.
