4/19, EARTH DAY IN ROSE PARK

This is the 3rd annual Earth Day event at Rose Park on 8th and Orizaba. This event is FREE and open to all! The Earth Day event at Rose Park will feature the following:

  • Butterfly mosaic art with Dawn Mendelson of ArtWorksLBC
  • Live music from Little Radios
  • A butterfly pavilion & release
  • An opportunity to dispose of your plastic wrap or film and we will recycle it
  • Information about Ridwell and keeping things out of the landfill by recycling and reusing
  • Water efficiency and energy efficient programs by Long Beach Utilities 
  • A recycle and reuse activity by Long Beach Public Works Litter Abatement program 
  • Native Milkweed Plants

Brought to you by Rose Park and Bluff Heights Neighborhood Associations with a goal to provide education and interactive opportunities for neighbors to learn more about environmental conservation and sustainability.
