Building Community at an Art Show
At this year’s BIG heART Show there were some special ways to connect, participate in art and build relationships. Here is Dawn Mendelson (mosaic artist and art educator) working with Val Parker, Exec. Director for Power4Youth – local mentoring program working on a skateboard mosaic. Too much fun!
Eyes on the street, sidewalk, trees, traffic circles
Several interested people came to walk Rose Park South Saturday May 19th. Starting at Do Good Donuts and weaving from 4th to 6th via Orizaba over to Redondo, up to E7th and back to Orizaba.
