GIVE WHERE YOU LIVE

Rose Park Neighborhood Association’s ArtWorksLBC program uplifted the neighborhood in 2025 through creative and meaningful ways—from making repurposed art with homemade glue and recycled paper and plastic, to our annual holiday ornament-making for our elder neighbors. We gathered in Rose Park to carve pumpkins and popped up in local businesses to create art together in community.

Our biggest project of the year was making a twenty-foot-long mosaic mural with members of the community and participants at Safe Refuge, a recovery program. One Safe Refuge resident shared that working on this collaborative mural was his first time feeling part of a place rather than passing through it. He was not defined by where he was in his life, but was included as a neighbor and a community member. He was part of something bigger. This is the type of impact art can have on a community—inclusiveness and inspiration.

We CANNOT continue to bring the resources and projects to the neighborhood without the funding and/or volunteer support of our neighbors.
