ArtWorksLBC is a community benefit project of Rose Park Neighborhood Association. We create opportunities for neighbors to connect, build community and foster healthy neighborhoods through arts wellness and collaborative creativity. ArtWorksLBC Director and Mosaic Artist, Dawn Mendelson leads community workshops including free art programming for kids and adults in Rose Park on 8th and Orizaba; holiday ornament making for older adults; mosaic art projects with LBUSD students and staff; and art engagement at community events. ArtWorksLBC also supports the revitalization of neighborhood spaces in partnership with Roses for Rose Park Artist, Cody Lusby, creating a series of painted murals throughout the community.

Long Beach Gives isa citywide, online fundraising campaign to raise awareness and inspire community giving for Long Beach nonprofits The citywide fundraising campaign begins on Thursday, September 11th and ends at midnight on Thursday, September 18th.
