One of the oldest parades in US!

District 7 and Council Member Roberto Uranga and staff were gracious hosts of one of the neatest holiday events in LB! And Rose Park was included.

At the Daisy Ave Christmas Tree Lane Parade we were so busy trying to stay on our bikes – decked with holiday roses – that we captured just a few photos. But because we were behind one of the show stopping bands which the crowd loved – we are probably in dozens of home videos!!!! We met Council Member Uranga and were able to give District 7 a beautiful bouquet! And we spoke with former State Senator Betty Karnette – who recalled living on E7th, and hugs from Council Member Pearce whose daughter Jubilee was fashionably attired in a green lace dress! And towards the end just when we were in sight of the finish line – we heard our names shouted…..many of you will know Jeff Anderson and Torey Carrick and their sons who came out on the parade route to bolster us!

We hope we are invited back next year – thank you District 7!

How the Gnome Stole Rose Park and other Holiday Notes

You’ll see in our upcoming newsletter we are seeking mystery writers to explain “How the Gnome Stole Rose Park” – this little contest was put together BEFORE we knew of the holiday movie! Check it out!

Here are our AOC7 neighbors having their celebratory Board Bash at Pizzanista. They’ve accomplished a ton this year! Go AOC7!

And some glimpses of the gown created by Cindy and Patrick at LBCC’s very cool Fashion Network Club just for our part of the Bembridge Victorian Christmas. Go LBCC!
