Long Beach Police Announce Arrests in Connection with Recent Cell Phone Thefts and Encourage Public to Remain Vigilant

Given that a short while ago we notified our readers about the notable increase in strong-arm robberies that have been taking place in our area of Long Beach, as well as helped spread the word about the recent community meeting regarding the matter at which Captain LeBaron was in attendance, we also thought it important to announce that the LBPD have made some arrests with respect to these types of crimes.  For those that wish to read more, visit this link. Tonight! A meeting with Commander Paul LeBaron of the LBPD at 7:00p at Portfolio Coffeehouse re: Recent Strong-arm Robberies in Rose Park South and Retro Row

Paul LeBaron, East Division Commander of the Long Beach Police Department, will be hosting a community meeting at Portfolio Coffeehouse at 7:00p tonight in order to address the recent spate of strong-arm robberies that have been on the rise in our area (see our posting from a few days ago). Portfolio is located at 2300 E 4th St, at the corner of 4th St and Junipero Ave.
