Future Development of the Prospector

Hilco Development Services, a local development company in Long
Beach invites neighbors to an open house to discuss the future development of The Prospector and adjacent house located at 2400 E 7th Street and 684 Junipero Avenue. Neighbors immediately adjacent to the site are welcome to come and learn more about plans for the property.

Hilco Development Services will present their preliminary designs and give neighbors an opportunity to provide feedback and potential concerns for the project and with the site generally speaking.

What is Bike Share For All?

In May 2023, the City of Long Beach launched Bike Share For All (BSFA), which provides Long Beach Bike Share memberships for $5 per year to individuals who are: 

  • 18 years and older, 
  • Live, work, or attend school in Long Beach, and 
  • Are enrolled in one of 18 qualifying assistance programs (including Calfresh, Utility Assistance, Section 8, etc.).  

BSFA members get 3 hours of daily ride time on Long Beach Bike Share, with access to more than 800 blue bikes at more than 100 docking stations. Credit, debit or cash payment options are available and a smartphone is not required to use the bike share system.

  • Long Beach Bike Share’s standard memberships are $15 per month or $120 per year. Pre-paid or pay-as-you-go options are also available.
